What is this device used for?
Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) is an electrotherapy device and is indicated to be used for temporary relief of pain associated with sore and/or aching joints and muscles, as well as those suffering from neuropathy.
How does TENS work?
Think of TENS as “Electronic Aspirin”. TENS sends small electrical impulses through adhesive electrodes surrounding your point of pain. These small electrical impulses, like aspirin, trick your brain to look past the pain. TENS is not cure for your pain condition but will help you manage your pain without the use of drugs so you can get back to living life.
